Welcome to the new innovation of restoring your vehicles
versus purchasing new. Shaheen Restoration, a Division
of Shaheen Chevrolet has been in the Restoration business
since 1995. Shaheen
Chevrolet, Michiganís largest Service Dealer has been in existence since
1970. We have been involved in the Police
Pursuit Vehicle business since 1982, handling state and municipal contract purchases
of all types of
vehicles.
The restoration division was founded in 1995 when Chevrolet Motor Division
announced that the production of the Chevrolet Caprice
police vehicle would be ceased after 1996 production year
because of low retail demand
Due to the many disappointed departments that were finally
getting a large rear wheel drive performance vehicle and losing
it after its cycle; we came up with the idea of restoring
these vehicles. After many hours of testing, diagnosing and
trying different options, Shaheen Restoration was created,
giving the departments the option of buying new vehicles or
restoring their existing units.
It did not take long for departments to realize that their vehicles were
being returned performing like new vehicles and detailed
to look like new. The rest is history. Since its conception
, Shaheen Restoration has restored thousands of vehicles,
including large State Police Highway Fleets, Pickups, 4WD
Tahoe's, Suburbans, Vans, etc.
The personnel hired to restore these vehicles are highly trained technicians
holding Master Michigan and ASE Certifications. Nothing
less than these qualifications will do to perform restorations.
Shaheen Restoration only uses parts engineered for the police package
vehicles. Special price packages are not part of our restoration.
Each vehicle undergoes a three-hour major teardown inspection
before an estimate is generated for your approval. Once
approved, we go to work performing a flawless restoration,
to factory specs, by on e expert technician per vehicle.
If body repairs or paintwork is needed, that is the next
step. Color changes are also handled at that time.
The last step is the detailing of the vehicle and quality control road
test. We can also check out emergency equipment and perform
repairs and upgrades if requested.
Rest assured that we are a first class company and do everything we say
we are doing with nothing but Genuine GM or Genuine Ford
parts unless others are requested. This complete restoration
program is built on integrity and honesty, with the best
skilled Nationally Certified Technicians available in both
body and mechanical services. The turn around time for
a quality restoration is anywhere form 14-30 days plus
transportation. It really depends on the individual vehicle.
Remember that we can also restore any of your support vehicles also,
as in trucks and vans, anything GM or Ford. We also do
all preventative maintenance work, service work, and emergency
equipment service and sales.
The discounts offered by us are very hard to match by anyone. Restoring
a vehicle is not something just any dealer can perform.
