Guidelines for Consideration:

1. Submit requests in writing using event/organization letterhead.
   
2. Requests may be submitted using either method noted below:

3. Only requests received at least 30 days prior to an event can be considered
   
4. Shaheen Chevrolet will only consider contributions to not-for-profit organizations in Michigan.
   
5. A maximum of one request per calendar year can receive consideration per organization.
   
6. Shaheen Chevrolet makes financial contributions, donations, or charitable contributions only to organizations that qualify under IRC section 501(c)(3), unfortunately this precludes situations that benefit a single individual or family.
   
7. Donations are NOT automatically renewed. Each submission is evaluated separately regardless of prior participation.

Your written request on organizational letterhead MUST include the following information:

1. Name of the event/organization requesting sponsorship.
   
2. Contact person with street address, telephone number & email address to which responses can be mailed or emailed. (No telephone follow-up will be made)
   
3. Date, description and location of the charitable event.
   
4. Estimated attendance and demographic make up of the audience.
   
5. History of the event and attendance/contributions from previous year.
   
6. All other event sponsors including dealership participation.
   
7. Opportunities for Shaheen Chevrolet to be included in advertisements and/or promotional materials.
   
8. Opportunity for Shaheen Chevrolet to obtain contact information including mail and email addresses for a follow-up mailing to attendees.

We appreciate your interest in Shaheen Chevrolet, however, due to the large number of requests we receive we are unable to respond to all requests immediately. If we are interested in sponsoring your event/organization we will contact you via mail with follow-up information. Please do NOT call to follow-up on the request as information will not be given over the phone.
